21 May 2018–11 September 2018
Develop, implement and review an evidence based high impact Pupil Premium strategy and framework. Developed by the Education Endowment Foundation and Research Schools Network, this 3 day programme draws upon the most recent and robust evidence of impact.
This programme is designed to help Pupil Premium Reviewers and school leaders responsible for Pupil Premium funding develop the following –
- A quality assured framework for Pupil Premium Reviewers
- An honest and robust self-evaluation
- Strategies to evaluate the impact of a Pupil Premium strategy effectively
- An evidence-informed Pupil Premium strategy
“There’s no doubt that the Pupil Premium has enabled schools to focus more on the learning of their disadvantaged pupils. Having the resources to target support at disadvantaged pupils is the first step to closing the attainment gap. But it is how those resources are spent that will really make the difference.”
– Sir Kevan Collins
